Fishing Hendon / Ryhope from low water to high water. Anyone point me in the direction for good places to fish?
Thanks
Billy

1st thing to take is plenty ££ coins to give to the VERMIN that promise to watch your car - unless you are walking down ,from the garage ,which i doubt ,as its a canny hike.

If you are fishing hendon I would have to say fish hendon cliffs at top water there you can fish straight out of your car or the wall but I think the clifftop fishes better.

At all times watch where you park your car if your not sure the probable easiest place to leave your car is at the yacht centre and just fish the rat house instead

The Back of the tanks fishes well but you may get moved on by security and be careful if the sea\'s away. Also keep an eye out for burning cars coming down the hill. :o I\'ve heard there have been some good catches recently from there. Check your PM m8

still at work dave  got some new drivers to install at home for the modem then :P :P :P

Davy I really don\'t know the crack at the moment m8 check your PM

davy i was talking to an angler down there the other week and he said theyve got a camera mounted so as soon as u go near the fences it follows your every moment.

Oh by thew way Billy if your fishing hendon promenade dont fish alone ive heard a few tales of lads getting their gear took of them

Or alternatively buy a conoflex dc6 with an aluminium butt and use that on the toerags! :D :D

Worked for me when I was a kid! :D Long departed now though!

nothing like a rounders bat across their face, that make them instantly change their plans and ideas. the sound of the jaw bones crunch is music to my ears.
i remember once a few years ago, tying a toe rag to the back of my car, and driving him at 20mph fro about 15 mins, after we caught him trying to steal another car. lets say...i doubt he would have tried again in a hurry. the open wound on his leg was doing nicely, nearly to the bone. i did feel a bit guilt after doing it, so i released him, untied him and said dont do silly things again, he said he was very very sorry, and he would never do anything such like again, so i broke his nose for answering back....i didnt tell him to reply,

yeah same as i did when i was 14 / 15 year old . I used to go night fishing on Middelton pier had to go theough the nigh life lowlifes on a friday night lets say my DC6 Aluminium butt used to do the trick even at that tender age .

When I grew up and i still take a bat with me when fishing dodgy ground i even miss that DC6 even now good memories and good whackings for the toerags
