Well done m8 . I live a mile away from hendon beach and lived in the east end since i was 5 (im 51 now ) and i have never fished hendon beach i have always travelled away to the likes of newbiggen , lynemouth , craster etc , but from now on when the winter season kicks in again my 1st shot is going to be hendon prom i have heard some good reports all last season and i blanked my last 2 times in northumberland .its on my doorstep for goodness sake ,your post as made me want to fish hendon , cheers

nice fish unusual for Hendon this time year, but I suppose fish will pop up in small numbers all over, in easterlies, so makes fish more special.

Spring run, smaller codling all over when the sea lifts a bit. Couple on ssp today too. Sea is forecast to lift next week with easterly swells. I reckon those who bother to fish big baits will get a few. I might get shot down, but I will be out trying if I can get a pass off the missus n sum frrsh crab. Tight lines boys
