hi craigyboy
well before we went ahead and bought our boat we went along to various boat compounds looking at how much they cost to berth a boat but whilst we were trolling about we spoke to plenty of boat owners and nearly everyone we spoke to all travell well offshore we were very suprised but this is what is done on the holderness coast i would love to not have to travell and be able to find fish just a couple of miles out but one thing about here is the depth of water and the ground which is mostly sand and shingle also what wrecks are within say 10 miles of the shore are always full of anglers and divers etc which has been backed up by people in our boat club
we spoke to a couple of owners in our boat club that was out the other week and they went to 6 wrecks and every one had boats fishing on them they came back with only catching a couple of small whiting that sounds like a waste of time to me lol lol lol
i know my mate who has his own boat in whitby only goes out a couple of miles and nearly always comes home with a fish or two but he used to have a microplus in the same boat compound as we are in and when he was there he always went well out

hope this explains sean

the crack has always been good on here lol

phill the cost of our boat yard is £123.00 per year and that includes all use of tractors
