Fished the tide down last night with Greeny and Wally. Took a couple of flatties and a few whities between us. Greeny managed a codling 2lb 4oz and a bloke further down had one around 2 and a half. Good swell on but not many cod, but nice to be back in action.

Me and Phil were down the pool last night too, had a look at the Heugh but fancied the twin steps instead. We saw your head lights on the end lol.

Yes I don't blame you, I would love to try the odd rock mark but petrified of slipping. There are one or maybe two that I could struggle onto with a bit of help but I don't think it is worth the risk. I might have a look down to the Heugh one night though as that is nice and easy access as long as I stay before the gate. It is a very long time since I fished it.
