Got some lovely worm today off John at the Friarage and started 12pm low water on the heugh. The sea looked big and i was a bit concerned. Fished till 3 then moved-only one small coalie. Moved to the twin steps. Sinker was not holding bottom. Thought Steetly or Seaham. Did,nt fancy the long walk to Steetly so decided Seaham a mate of mine had told me there was Cod off the Stiles yesterday so went there for high tide. Fished two rods loaded with worm in a lovely sea but blanked. Lost couple of rigs and shockleaders. Went home at 7pm before the main gates were locked.
Overall i,m very disappointed with my season--i think its worse than last year. Roll on the boat and fly fishing season.
Mick.

Same here £6 worth (40 p each)-this would have lasted the full sesh and £6 worth of rag and a big bag of razer £2:50.
Gave the rag away-but regretting it today as i fancied another look out.
