Hi folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well-known member
Thought I would post, afterall Ive been lurking for some time. Hope you`re all well and all that stuff.
Now, Where would be the best place to look for a good secondhand Shortie or Seajeep? I had a Shortie last year but had to get rid as i lost my layup area. Ive been looking at most of the internet sites recently but nothing seems to be coming up thats half decent. Anyone any ideas???

Welcome Mr.Plumber hope you enjoy. I\'m just a lowly shore angler lol but someone on here will point you in the right direction.

Jim.

Hello Mr. Plumber..........

Noticed you logged in several times .......nice to see you\'ve made contact at long last.......registered 24th May....1st post 4th November.......are you always this cautious ???.......lol.

I\'ll not pretend that I have a clue as to what a Shortie or a Seajeep is (other than some sort of boat), but I hope you find what you\'re lookin\' for.

Which sites have you tried? Just in case there\'s any you missed, these are the ones I keep an eye on:
http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/
http://www.boats-for-sale.com/default.asp
http://www.craysidemarine.co.uk/
http://www.devamarine.co.uk/index.html
http://www.findafishingboat.co.uk/boatsection.htm
http://www.on-water.co.uk/

eBay is worth a look too for the size of boat you\'re thinking of.

The only comment I would make is that you find many boats are for sale on more than one of these sites.

Thanx lads! It looks like I`ll be doing a bit of shore angling for the time being! Not to worry though as its not really boating weather at this time of year.
Probably see some of you down on the piers or beach or wherever...........G

Hi Mr Plumber...

Don\'t rule out the winter fishing for Cod on the boat. I enjoy this time of year most of all.... If \"Homer\" reads this I\'m sure he\'ll agree as well.

Jeff.

Where do you do your shore fishing mate ?

I try to fish some of the marks I know on the west coast/ Dumfries and Galloway areas if time permits. Otherwise off S/Shields pier around about mark No.42?, sometimes Roker pier or the beaches anywhere.

welcome to nesa mr.plumber
homer does agree with jeff there is plenty of good fishing out there in the winter the inshore marks around sunderland provide some excellent cod fishing to uptiding or downtiding methods

Wellcome aboard mate !
