cheers

cast 11oclock off the craig. casting 50 yards. Its looking more unstable all the time. Just left of the craig (more into collywell bay) is devils hole only a short lob here into the hole (about 25 yards) usually a fish or two about there.

is it safe fishing the crag at collywell .if so do you fish off the top right on the corner and cast n/e ?

yes you can also fish about 50yds to the right of the crag where the old air raid shelter used to be theres a gap in the cliff to lift your fish up grass will be flattened were lads cast off. davy.

That bit davys on about is block house hole. Site of an old block house :)

no longer there now used to get in there out of the rain, was a few air raid shelters all the way to st marys and those cliffs were used for rifle practice you can still pick up used bullet shells in the pools below cliffs. davy.

going somewhere at tea time over high water, what ground do you fish onto from these cliffs davy,is it worth it this time of year.thinking of along that area or maybe by old pool casting over the pipe

Peter give the high beacons a shot cast as far as you can it becomes clean ground, but can pick some tide up, I that's not working try a short cast about 11 o'clock there is a deeper hole that can hold fish.

never fished there before mate.ill see if I can find it on a fishing marks map

It's a doddle mate park near newbiggen golf course, walk across the course then follow the path about ten mins north, you will see big flat rocks to fish fish off.

I like fishing the beacons. You will find it on Philitofish's signature. You can either park next to the golf course club house and walk round. or next to the bus terminus. Hop over the wall. Through the fields with the horses and cut across the golf course.

you need a big cast to clear pipe you should be o/k,with quite deep water at h/w either side of steps should clear it,wont be surprised if you pull 2or 3lbs out oncrab, the crag you are casting on to mixed boulders and kelp but with the hight of cliff you come straight off the bottom and rarely loose gear. always odd decent red cod and wrasse and coalys. davy.
