Information for Smooth hound fishing on the holderness coast

This is my first post on the site therefore I am unfamiliar with the protocol, that said, it remains to ask the questions, are there any hot spots, and what sort of access can I expect if I make the trip down from Newcastle.

Thanks for that link codseeker, it is for one of the spots I had herd about and seems very popular. Do you happen to know much about the marks further down past Mablethorpe around Chapel St Leonard's. A few guys I have spoke to seem to think it may be worth the extra distance on the journey, that said its a while since they had been down that far and I am led to believe that these smoothound are being found further and further north these days. I am just trying to weigh it up here, I am guessing that the tactics are fresh crab and look for holes and bars at low water then fish them over the high tide. I say this because on google those beaches look mighty flat and featureless. I could have it wrong and the fish maybe just spread over the ground but i am sure there's a key to it. I am thinking flat seas and settled weather may also be a requirement. Basically not been before so fishing for information here.

i believe the hounds head further south ,chapel point or chapel six marshes ,the same check the beaches before hand but they do fish well in the shallow part of the beach im told ;)

also the flatter the better targeting these species
