That would be Get Carter on Blackhall Beach (I never knew about alien3 though).

Alien 3 - Ridley Scott, the Director was from Hartlepool I think. Good use of local knowledge.

Ridley Scott was from south shields mate

Ridley Scott was from South Shields but eventually settled on Teesside. The industrial landscape and ici chemical plant at Wilton was the inspiration for the sciences in the film bladerunner.

Also a lot of my mates were extras, as soldiers in the film atonement on Redcar beach.
