fished horden last nite from 4ish till 11ish with mark (bronson) we started off at the northend tommys rock with mark getting a nice big place 2lb ish i was getting loads of bites but couldnt catch them then as the tide turned we were getting crabbed off so we moved back to a mark i fish all the time and first three cast mark got three nice whities then the bites died off and just as were talking mark got a nice bite and pulled in a codling about 2lb (jammy bugger). I then started to get bites and landed 3 whities in 2 casts or and a rockling. Then the wind was picking up so we called it a nite.

we end up with 1codling 2lb,1xplace 2lb and 4 nice big whities.

baits used were lug, rag, macky, sardine, squid and mussel

have got photos when i can get them off my fone.

Canny session there lads:D, the winds been a pain all week dropped a bit now but still in a westerly direction.

Well done Allan. Forecast for northeasterly winds this week, fingers crossed it happens, got a bucket full of blacks with cod only written on them.

its one of the biggest i have seen off the beach for a couple of years. But saying that i have been getting some good dabs off there this year.

may have been small flounders, deff not spotties, look the same as the small dabs we used to catch in the mersey, i dont keep them just put them back soon as poss, hopefully so they go tell mr cod theres a Mc lugworm 100 and odd yards away :)
