horden beach 11 feb 2011 cod at last

went down around 15:30 lovely sea running within an hour i had a nice little codling just under 2 lb, then next cast pulled a small whiting in and straight after that i pulled a lovely 6lb cod in, all of these were caught on excellent lug worm supplied by john from the friarage, sea started to get a bit rough and was finding it hard to keep the bottom so we packed up but not a bad night for me.

I had a look down Horden at the sea yesterday afternoon and it was starting to build up the & I thought there might be fish.

i fish along towards the white rock about 100 metres south, i fished white rock last weekend got nothing and i knew this mark was pretty good so i gave it a go last night
