fished from 6-8 tich beachboy succesful baits were runny down(1 ) and macky fillet. rag not producing today . fished a porstmouth rig at varying distance and had 3 dabs . not much of a tide or surf at all . unfortunately no thornbacks .better than blanking and was a enjoyable couple of hours out .

Aye was a good couple hours out the house with good crack. Shame the thorn backs haven't been around , which is suprising with the weather we been having. We must keep at it and one day we will be rewarded for our effort and time.

if you were catching dabs maybe baits were too small for thornies,

used to use whole mackeral baits in luce bay for the tope but thornies used to take them as well.

i fished horden tonight aswell,not alot doing,few small whitey and a little flounder also seen a dogfish caught,was hoping for a stray cod but guess i was fishing in the wrong spot..as for a thornie u might want to try fishing over the bigger tides,really small tide tonight which probs didnt help..
