horden today

it was nice day decided to have a couple hrs down horden. used blueys /macky/ runnydown/ prawns. most came back untouched. water was still murky.
i was not happy. did not even get crabbed out

then i hoyed two prawns mid distance on my 'special' rig ( 2 hook flapper to be honest) and landed in this flounder.

it was not foul hooked nor was it size. i did not return it to water. i decided to make a keychain out of it due to the size. ( ok honestly it was returned after the photo. so to cut a not too long story short. 2 hours . one flounder on prawn, horden .

defrosted raw king prawn covered in freezer burn . its about 4 yrs old lol . honest

That's one manky looking Flounder, but even a manky Flounder is better than a blank. Looks a lovely day for it though and definitely beats sitting in the house

Better than a blank mate I've used frozen prawn a few times but never caught with it

when using prawn its good to not use a big amount. great for tipping rag with . on its own i sue about half a one on a 1'0 hook
