hi all, new 2 th site. decided on fishing the beach last nite, fished 2 up and 2 down. bait used was just rag, first cast straight into a codling about 1 1/2 lb,.
this was 2 b a start of things 2 come, ended up with 5 codling all about th same size and a decent whitting. lost what felt like a decent fish in th surf and missed a few other good bites(still a little rusty) but all in all a sess i enjoyed very much, back down 2nite with my m8 so hopefully il be writting another report

Well done, we fished same area other day poor, bit weed but not one bite, using runny down, squid, frozen peeler, and macky, went to Hendon and Roker pier last night cracking on with the lads fishing not much showing at both, never bothered. Ill wait till the high tides at the weekend before I go out again, unless water/weather changes

nice report Rhodes1, nice 2 see new rods! on the site fished twice at the wk/end gone, only managed 1 small flounder( bout 9ins), hope its better this wk/end, ganna try Cambois bottom of the ramp 1st,low water, if nowt I'll try the Hole:red:
