im gonna have a trip up horden in the winter for hopefully some cod could any one please give me some information on this mark which part of the beach is worth a shot, bait, distance, rigs, tides and conditions thanks in advance

tight lines

much appreciated

its a canny beach , for the cod as common as this will sound u will need a good running sea , darkness is the best choice. ur usual baits will suffice, rag /lug/runny tipped with the usuals. there is no super secret formula to the cod there, just the right place at the right time. good beach now for the plaice and the dabs . whiting can be hectic in the winter in darkness. there is a carpark 9 out of ten u will be ok to park there. i have lost some wheel trim before personally. the car park too can get busy in the winter. some form of thigh waders/ chest waders/waterproof boots will help as the waves /surf can travel a bit especially in cod conditions. in bigger tides u will need to cast from the ledge? distance would be handy then. the white rock is a popular choice easily identified by the white rocks on the cliffs behind u . . Thats horden for ya . as far as i can help ... :)

dont park in the car park at night, park up past the rail bridge on the housing estate, if your using cotsford lane access. White rock is only about a couple of hundred yards north

You can park at mine and I will take the jeep down I only live 5mins walk away from the nice hill climb down haha
