hi m8,found the one i had ccld very good .would put baits out a good way without destroying them.very smooth rod to cast not a j type rod.

the butt has a bit give in it but extreme end of tip is stiffish hence c curve action.

peoples dislike are bite detection they say tip end too stiff to see bite dont see it a problem myself.

i used to cast 7 ounces plus baited hook with mine.
