How much petrol?

Thanks, think I will be looking at a planing 15 - 16 footer with a small cuddy, probably something that has been around a while so I can get an older boat and do it up, good freeboard for my kids, and possibly a vee hull (but I could be wrong!). Trying to find sites that review some of the options. Am probably asking for the perfect boat!
Cheers,
Geoff

Hi Geoff Looks like you might have to have a think about an alaska 500 will tick all your boxes and especially the free board

Cheers Sean,
Looked into them and they look great but cheapest I have spotted is £5000, so I either save or wait for a "Bargain" to come along. I have actually wanted an Alaska 500 years ago when I was younger.
Also going to look at some other models, I think a sea hog samurai is a simlar shape hull.
Thanks for all the advice,
Geoff

Hi Geoff

The seahog Samuri is a cracking boat and will suit you very well and you may get one a bit cheaper

the reason i suggested the alaska was the size of one they are huge compared to the others in the class

the beam makes them so good and they are used by commercials as well

you might find and open one and then get a cuddy made for it which a good grp person should be able to do for you

Have fun looking but be prepared to travel if you find one as they are hard to find but if you get one it will be worth it
