How old can shockleader line be before its to old?

Alreet all.
I found sme shockleader tucked away in my drawer in an old sea angler line holder, back from the days sea angler used to give away cool free gifts lol!!
well the leader line is 60lb and must be bout 13 years old!! do you still think its still safe to use it seems strong still.

I agree if havent been in sunlight. I have recently found 3 spools of 28lb sylcast line and a spool of maxima chameleon in my mothers loft, must be 15 years old but are all fine and currently being used.
