The best way to keep fish alive is before you go fishing is to get a small file and blunt the barb on the hook even if it gets off its a small life saved but 9 times out of 10 they still come to you and if the hooks right down its neck its so easy 2 get out. Try it if yah just fishing for fun and you never know you might catch that same fish 5 years later
