Every Winter seems to be getting harder, an uphill struggle if you like. Even my usual local haunts that I'd swear by have produced "didley squat", and I've found myself heading straight off to Whitburn in search of a Cod.

Ours started pretty well in October with several fish of 2 to 3lb per session. Since Dec though it’s gone downhill and blanks are becoming more common.
