well guys got some nice big yellow tails from friarage at the headland in hartlepool and thought the huegh would of been a good shot got there for just after4pm and fished right thru til about 930pm with a couple other lads on there had one small codling about half pound and that was it all night wind was howling in ya face freezing cold and the sea was getting bigger by the minute finally had enough packed up and walked down the pier to find the fence and bottom half of the pier was awash with big breakers crashing over the top waited half hour or so before i could get over hte fence and off the peir all in all a really bad night waste of time waste of effort and a waste of really good bait

Figured that was going to happen. I went off at 3pm. I rememember as a kid you had to stay on the heugh till the tide turned before you ran off. Waves used to come right over the middle. Mind those days you could always run and jump on the wire fence out of the way of the water coming over so your legs stayed dry.

yeah had to wait bout half hour or so before i was brave enough to climb the fence mate them breakers going over it where massive just started to splash over the end just after i packed up pretty poor night in such good conditions
