;) :D

It\'s called the \"revolution\" mould & was invented by a guy in Hull, I got possibly the last one a couple of years ago as he told me he was stopping making them.
The mould does both 5 & 6 oz weights & I use them all the time & think they\'re gr8

:D :D acquired this one today..the lead that is not the mould, like the lookf of it..good for the rock edges, I reckon..bet it gets lost first cast..lol.lol.lol.

heather try asking the shop where you bought it they may tell you there source then ask the source where they got the mould

im sure any machine operator worth his salt would be able to mill one for you

heather,
if you look at my leadheads i made the mould my self it takes a block of ali and a dremmel .im just thinking for rock edges a 6oz round bullet might be better .you have give me a idea ile let you know how i get on

KeithB said he made a mould a few year ago with some rubber/silicone?? material.

Make a box, suspend the weight in the middle then add the solution

Let is set and then cut it in half and add a filler hole.

I though it was Bull myself but he reckons it works.

The other alternative is as Gary said and get some aluminium blocks.

Helps if you know someone with machining capabilities.

Got some pirk moulds done at work, must have cost thoudands by the time you included the manhours for producing a 3d model, programming and machining ;)

That\'s why I thought it was bizarre.

Then again if he got the stuff from work (which he probably did) then it would have probably been some exotic multi part mixture suitable for high temperatures.

As in high I mean a few hundred degrees centigrade.

I\'m sure he\'ll post, correcting me.

I\'ve set a site up for a few lads (and anyone else interested) so they could advertise their weights & tackle etc & keep it off my \"info\" site but we ran into bother setting the postage up for posting weights, LOL. So it\'s waiting for me to edit it :casstet:
I won\'t post a link without approval so ask me for it or TC might put it in if u want a look. We\'re only taking orders on weights in bulks of 50\'s & 100\'s with delivery/meet up a possibilty.

I like the flat weights for the rock edges as they don\'t fall into cracks as easily as the cylindrical weights \'cos they don\'t roll. On beaches the tide flow pushes them into the sea bed causing the lead to grip more & retrieving them owa kelp & snags is gr8 cos the plane to the surface due to their shape
The ones pictured above are \"geet posh\" cos the cuts in them seem to be \'pre -cut\', mine are made by hammering a flat screwdriver into them, LOL

The shape of them Should make them want to \"dive\" on the retrieve ,either that or my Physics teacher was Wrong- But i passed it Anyway - just a thought like ;) ;) -but on the cast they should lift like a Spitfire. :D

Andy........

Post the link, m8.

Owt that helps out other anglers is fine by me.

I\'ll also stick it in the weblinks section, so that it doesn\'t get lost amongst the threads.
