Fished next to Ice House today from 9.30 am till 1.00 pm caught a load of small codling, whiting using rag/lug/crab. had a cracking morning just wish the big ones were biting. all went back in the river.
Had to watch the rod stand due to wind as the lot nearly went in the brink a couple o times. Packed up just in time to miss the snow/hail.
Attached a few pics so you can see the size all approx 22cm there abouts.
Probs try the coast tomorrow as a bit bait left. I know Colournose point at Craster was unfishable today due to size of swell and waves and i could see that South Shields pier was getting a hammering from the waves, up and over.
