Pazza, can someone ask Pazza to contact me A.S.A.P. please, I have spoken to the British Record Fish Commitee and there is no present record for a Greater Forkbeard. The fish would have to be identified correctly by the B.R.F.C. There are certain procedures to be carried out on claiming a record. I've just returned from Andy Rutherfords were he's verified the fish as a Greater Forkbeard, weighing in at 3lb dead. He's given me a signed certificate of verification.

Look at the post before you mate, apparently you need the B.R.F.C. to verify.

Well done young man ! put it in the freezer once you have weighed it on calibrated scales WITH CERTIFICATES !!!!"! i cant stress this enough !! try getting it weighed at a couple of places .......once you have done this put it in the freezer until the NFSA ask to get it verified !!! it will have to be sent down to the national science and history museum in london ......for Mr Oliver Crimmon to verify .............oh yes brings back memories for me !! just out of interest the Lesser Forked Beard is a Tadpole Fish ...................good luck and congratulations
