Had no takers for the bait so it looks like I'm going to have to use it myself, sea looks like it's picked up so might be in with a chance, off to Blyth beach, hope it's not too rough to fish, there's going to be alot of water movement with the height of the tide, if any of you lucky sods that live right at the coast can give me any info on the sea conditions it would be greatly appreciated, it would have to be in the next hour or so though as I'll be on my way by about half one.
 
The beach at Blyth is probably unfishable as it is massive today....was really flat this time yesterday.
Try the peir for a chuck as it usually throws up a nice cod or two.

Just back from Blyth around 2pm.
Beach of,lots of weed,but waves not to big.
Lots fishing the river,saw a guy pull in a cod of about 2pounds and a flattie.
if i was not at a bike meet i would be there tonight
 
Was thinking today should have got the worm but missus likes to have me round the house for some odd days. ;)

I,ll be down Hartlepool next week.
