RIVERGE LEADER RINGS

a mate of mine has suggested i try these instead of using one of the normal shock leader knots he reckons a half blood knot with main line and shocker line to one of these ring is by far better has np problems doing it this way, any one else tried these and how good and safe are they for seafishing

Had a quick google, don't look like they'd stand up to the rigours of sea fishing very well. Doubt they'd do your rod eyes much good either by the looks of them.

Think I'll stick to the good old fashioned overhand / uni-knot for my leader.

Not sure what these are, but if the ring's metal wont it damage the rod/rings

if all rod rings was built like the diamite tip rings we wud have no problem and worry even if ya rod fell of ya stand

A mate of mine has tried them and hated them..... as the lads have said, not very robust for sea fishing mate. Stick with your normal knots!

there for droppers on a fly tippet, not power casting into the sea m8, give them a miss
