info on blyth pier

hi lads i just need some info on blyth pier as i am gona go up tonite 15.9.2006 any info would b good as i have never fished up that way cheers codman2

The best spots in my opinion are on the end casting towards Whitley bay lighthouse and anywhere near the bend. It is better on a big sea but sometimes it will be ok when it is not so big. Take a bit of Ragworm and plenty of Lug with an assortment of frozen baits as any of them can work on different nights.

In big winter seas when the area willywetegg is talking about is crowded don't go as far up. Just fish behind the breakers nearer the shore and you can pick up some good fish. Had some good bags of fish when it's like that.

cheers lads we had a good nite fishing up there me mate got 4 cod 2 under size and 2 at 1.15lb i had nothing not even a bite but still had a good nite somewhere differant cheers 4 the info.codman2
