Hi lads
A freind of mine has an old abu atlantic 484 zoom 11 1/2' beachcaster witch has great sentimental value to him, unfortunatle he has snapped the tip section, the rod is well over 30 years old.
he was wondering if any body could give him any info on where he might be
able to get it repaired or a replacement tip.

I know it's a long shot but any info would be much appriecated

It's the screw down type.

av got a 484 spgiggot type abrieviated handles positioned for f s .needs a new tip ring.no good for multi .free if he wants it [verry tatty]or a screw down type with about 3 ins missing off tip[i snapped mine as well]got a sonik now woo hoo.
