Well tbf the mackems have only played 4 games at home so far, attendances have been two matches at 41k, 1 at 37k and only the derby game got near full at 47k.

Lest see what the avergae is after a few more results like the past few have been eh??

I can tell u now the attendances will be going down just like safc at the end of another poor season

Sunderland will not w relegated, to many poor teams in league. As for comparing Newcastle to them, we'll I'm not even gonna go there. And I reckon safc fans deep down know the truth. Not even worth an argument !

Hello mate to be honest i agree they will stay up only because the other 3 trams below are garbage but there is something wrong in the club me thinks

I nearly had a punt on the mackems to win today because I thought that they might pull a win out of the bag...out of necessity more than anything but I'd rather waste my money on my own clubs failings LOL

I know there's a contingent of SAFC fans who decry the years that NUFC threw money into transfers and achieved nothing with it...sadly I think the same is happening down the road at the minute

On current form it's lucky that the bottom three look that they might stay that way otherwise it could be Championship footy next season

Plenty time to turn it round though ;)

In defense to Moocher (although the sweeping generality of the statement was perhaps misplaced) I believe he was referring to the Sunderland player who (rightly or wrongly) chose not to wear a poppy when the rest of his team were...something that, even though I wasn't going to be drawn to comment, I do not personally agree with (along with England players not singing the national anthem etc)...naivety of youth more than likely on his part

Howay man you can't quote me from another thread...different context surely :D
