Internet connection

So switched the computer on this morning and there was no internet connection. It was off for 5 plus hours. Was very annoyed with 3 provider, but was more annoyed with myself for feeling so lost without it

Davy I only have a moby and internet. I used call boxes. Also people met each other more, rather than text etc. Far more sociable.

I eschewed mobile for phones for years, then on my birthday 7 years ago, my youth theatre cast gave me a mobile as a present, as they felt I needed to be brought into the 21st Century. They said that after 3 months, if I didn't like it, I could just give it back to the shop. I was genuinely touched and of course after 3 months I couldn't do without it, so went to shop to ask what I had to do to keep it. Turned out I had to sign a 2 year contact, the phone was free on a 3 month trial and the kids had paid precisely nothing for my "present!!"
