I recieved this e-mail from Mike Charlton today:-
\"Hi Tony,
I have been asked by Amble lifeboat station to let you know that
they are having a function on the 11 November 2005 between
7.30pm and 9.30pm at the station. The purpose is to thank those
who have supported the station in the past and to ask for your
views on how to improve recruitment for the local fund-raising
group. You are not being asked to join this but may give a fresh
idea on this. There will be light refreshments and a tour of the
station. The Chairman would like two members from NESA to attend
if possible, so if you could let me know I will send the
tickets.
Kind regards
Mike\"
As the main purpose of the evening is to try to come up with new ways inrecruiting people to Amble RNLIs\' fund raising group - I think it would be a good idea if somebody from the Board who actually lives in the Amble area could attend.
Please PM me if you would like to attend the thankyou function - NOTE THOUGH - there are only 2 places available for NESA, so it\'ll be on a \"1st come - 1st in\" basis.
