Is everuone oot fishin or wat??

fancied a trip out tonight, but the freezer was bare, been to 7 tackle shops today - thats SEVEN. Not a worm to be had anywhere, let alone crab.

most of them told me they\'d just been cleaned out as there were lots of monster cod off the beaches. How dare they, they are my fish, mine I tell you. Santa promised them to me

Now there\'s an irony, after yesterdays run around, found a shop in consett I didn\'t even know was there, with a freezer full of fishy treats, and virtually on me doorstep.

tough descision now though, see the new year in in the village pub or freeze me nuts off in the forecasted blizzards. I must be getting cabin fever again as I think it\'ll be the second one if I can dig the car out - any snow down the coast??

i can see shields beach and some cliff shots from my back room and its flat calm / and no snow (not that i need my back window to see if its snowing mind you )
