Is it me or are their have the fish moved on

I have been fishing out of Amble going both North and South and recently find it very difficult to catch meaningful size cod. I am predominately using muppets with either fresh prawn, mackerel or squid. Is it me or are the cod just not around.

There are fish around, but it's true, things have been a bit patchy. Hopefully, the settled weather will bring a few more to your hook.
