just been geting a new phone . any one got any good apps for gps for the boat that can take way point ect ? its a motorola defy befpr you ask . the only one that i cud fined thats water proof to some extent
is there a app for that

Well, its an Android based phone so maybe this is supported on it:
NAVIONICS: The Leader in Electronic Charts
Its a marine GPS app and its meant to be really good, and for £16, you can't go wrong! I have yet to try it myself but I will once Im out & about this year!
Other than that the only other Apps I found in the marker were GPS 'test' apps, which can display co-ordinates and have a compass etc. Not really much use I guess and I woulndt like to trust my phone as a compass! Only other thing which I was going to have a look at was Google Earth, just out of curiosity though really, as I don't expect it would be an accurate GPS system. :red:
