Isle of Whithorn

Im heading up there for a long weekend of camping(wey thats what the wife thinks anyway!!).
What kind of fishing could i expect over there?
Any advice on marks and rigs would be much appreciated.
Im planning to take my spinning rods and rock fishing gear.

i fished it 3 weeks ago when i was holiday over there. very little on the spinner when i was there (only 1 small pollock). using bait it was dogfish, dogfish and more dogfish. entertaining far half an hour then annoying. one hook on you got 1 doggy, two hooks on you got 2 doggies. to be fair it was only a 4 hour session and i have scored well for pollock there in the past.

we also fished it about 4 weeks back and same stuff doggies and wrasse and small pollock but is a well known place for conger too
