I\'m off to Nuremburg in Germany tomorrow until Saturday. I thought I should check the weather forecast for the area so I know what clothes I should be packing.......I\'m in total shock...best is -2c and worst -15c....!!!! I think I\'ll try and get my flotation suit in the case.....

I\'m currently trying to \"delegate\" the trip to someone who could do with the experience of dealing with German customers....no success to date.

Jeff.

Camped out at the edge of a remote tarn in the lakes about 10 years ago at -15 overnight........BLOODY COLD when I got out the sleeping bag.........lol

I worked over in Dresden from October 1996 to February 1997 and it was always below freezing, with the temperature dropping to around -10 to -15 most nights.

I found it bearable as its quite dry (not like the humidity levels found in this country which make it feel cold and damp) and my sheepskin flying jacket was ample for going to and from the Irish bar (2 mile walk each way)

You couldn\'t make snowballs though :(

Oct/Nov 1993 I didn\'t work in Nuremburg cos it was too cold. We spent 2 weeks there in a hotel waiting for the weather to get better as had been forecasted. Couldn\'t afford to wait any longer so we went to a place called Badliebenstein and worked in tempretures down to -16. Not for long tho\', and never again.
