thanks for that mate it just shows you there sill people out there that tell you where to go...and dont keep it a secret.....its going to be the 1st time for us going up scotland 6 of us were just going to jump in the car beer bait and drive and find a place to pitch up......whats the ground like up there and what bait is good and what fish can you expect to catch

Fished that part of the coast a couple of times, bait varied as we took Rag, Squid, crab, mackeral and various spinning rigs.
Loads of Doggies, Wrass, strap conger, Pollack and a few other odds and sods.
The water is very very deep and I urge the utmost caution if you fish from the rock ledges. Believe you me, a life vest is not a bad purchase, last year a freak wave washed all of our gear into the sea.
On a sadder note , a couple of weeks later two anglers lost their lives in exactly the same spot.
I don't want to sound too dramatic but please be cautious. the sea has no friends.
On a lighter note have a great time and many tight lines.
