After a very disappointing summer with constant windy days the forecast yesterday was for good all the way. And when I got to Roker that's how it looked.
Once through the harbour things looked even better with no wind, plenty of sun and a flat calm sea.
The was only one problem, after 3 hours of trying there was nay Cod. I only managed to tempt a few Coaley's about the size of the one below.
Then, just when I thought things could get no worse along floated something to remind me summer was over and something else was coming!
Unbelievably it was a Christmas bauble from Mothercare.
Maybe Santa could help replenish the fish stocks!!
