this is prompted by billy turbots post:) how many times has someone gone to a wreck or mark:)nowt:mad: you move off in disgust,10 ninutes or less some blighter comes along:) and nails em:D then hes on the phone:mad: saying :) thanks for "warming " the mark up lads:) aye right mate no problem anytime:mad::mad::mad: thats fashing,and your right billy theres enough fash for abody:D this year any how

That's fishing though isn't it? Not just wrecks and sea fishing ...... all kinds of fishing is like that , if it's not your day :rolleyes:
I've had many a day like that fishing for pike , my mate would be hitting one after the other whilst I couldn't even get a bite , we'd swop places and he'd start catching them where I'd been , we'd even swop rods and he'd start catching them on my gear :confused::confused::confused::confused:
Who can figure out fish and fishing??? , It would happen the other way round just as often with me catching and him not mind.
It can be the easiest thing in the world to bag up and also the hardest , that's what keeps me coming back for more , that and the solitude , the craic , the wildlife , and most of all .................. the take!

we have lads come on the famous they ask wot has been catching fish (we might say white shads so they use a set of daylights with a shad on the bottom) we start pulling fish up and they say we have the best spot lol,all charter skippers have there own marks but with eletronics theres no secret marks any more,but if a boat is on a drift just be polight and join the drift,makes a bit comp between the anglers
