I don't really know what went on ,but the fact is that I really enjoyed reading many of the small boat catch reports. They were very imformative on what was getting caught and what on ,as well as a good bit of humour , certain skippers you set your bench marks against as you knew they knew what they were doing,and if you were somewhere near with your own catches you knew you were doing ok. So if people can take the time and effort to share there day with us , then they should be thanked and I for one do, not had a go at. I appreciated and throughly enjoyed them . Its us that lost out.

people are dickheads for not putting up a catch report????????

Now that is a new one on me, as far as im aware its not mandatory for every small craft owner to put up a report after a days fishing.
The reason i havent done a report in a long time is because i dont have the boat any more.

I dont think he is referring to the boat owners mate but rather the people who come on to be critical.

i think if i had me gps/fishfinder set up instead of guess work id do alot better saying that lots of bigger boats are struggling right out to find any fish on some wrecks but im happy enough close in perservering rough ground

I agree entirely, and I enjoy them all, My point was that some people dont seem to write them any more, obviously due to some negativity. Which is not fair , as they have taken the time and effort to write them , to share their day with the rest of us. Really it was just a thankyou to all the people who do and did write them. Letting them know that they are appreciated.
