Thinking of giving this mark a go. I've heard it can chuck a good fish out now n then. Do ya just fish it down and over low or can it be fished all the flood? best on a small tide or big tide or doesnt it matter? Heard it's tackle hungry but I've got plenty leads lol
its not a beach as such, ie sandy or even patchy sand! Its rocky as hell with gullies and holes all over. Unsure how or when it fishes best but im sure someone on here will know.
Take plenty of leads, hard to describe where to cast, best bet is to go down at low tide, take a few photos of the area as it looks totally different at high tide.
Agree with above, best to have a look on a big low tide. Personally found it better on medium to large tides 1hour down and 2 up on a dying sea. Can be tackle hungry but have found its not as bad as it looks. Its hit and miss but it does throw the odd good one out.
alot of weed there the other day wen i fished it same as mud hole but might of cleared up blacks and white rag fish well together but had fish on lug crab and mussel i have found bigger baits work there i was using the same as my mate he had nowt i gad 5 no good using 1 worm and 2 mussel you want good size lug maybe 2 yellow tails 4 or 5 large mussle then 2 peeler or 2 blacks and half a white worm well thats my opinion
The shields open will prolly be won from here this year as it was last year lol by default
Like most have said use big baits and take a big bucket of sinkers with you.
Caught most of my best fish here it's hard work but well worth a try
