japan earthquake and tsunami

Horrible init... now and again mother nature has a way of letting us know just how powerful she can be. My thoughts are with those who are having to deal with this right now...:(
 
yep looks pretty devastating ive been glued to it on news channel.

And as is with something big happening i get a bleep on my mobile with a joke.....
 
Biggest quake on record in Japan apparently - been following it all day on NHK (well, in between bouts of work!) some truly devastating images:(

One of the lads from work is over there at the minute and we're keeping touch on Facebook , he was joking earlier in the week about sleeping through a few tremors !!
Anyway he's safe but there are some large cracks in the road outside his hotel.

Ahem ...... best not repeat it matey ,as if I would :eek::eek::eek:.

Hadn't noticed my post count to be honest .

On a more serious note the clips on the news are so shocking and it looks like the death count will run into the thousands , on a brighter note it looks like the wave has dissapated and not harming farther afield ...according to Sky news anyway.
 
True bud,its an awesome show of sheer power from nature thats for sure.Lets hope for the best.
By the way,next friday,the dog may be adjacent to the two headed snake:o
