Jarra riverside park 20/11/12

Well out again to try jarra , me and Eric Turner fished from 7 till 11
First cast and a nice pound whiting so I thought here we go a good neet on the cards
Then nowt but crabs stripping the bait about 10.30 I whacked runny and fresh lug out on a Pennel pulley and decided to fillet the whiting , when a looked at my rod it had been pulled around so I picked it up and reeled into my pb cod from the shore a 5lb 11onz beauty , thanx to Eric for hand balling it up as it only had the top pennel hook lightly in

Nice one m8 eventually seems like the tyne is picking up. Been a few codling took from mid river recently.
