a party from jarrow booked the boat for 2 days,sat/sun,they forgot to book some good weather:exclam::exclam:
sat.trip saw fast drifts,wind and tide together,and pretty well continual rain:exclam:
the ground fished its nadgers off,for the full day:exclam: only lure that didnt work was the pirk,water too dirty i guess.prawn daylites rag hokkis you name it,it took fish,whooo hooo
no big fish, best was 6lb,the rest 2/3 lb fish,and mackeral by the score.
sunday saw flatter conditions,a bit less rain and similar fishing up till about 12ish,then as if someone pulled a switch,fishing died off.
although drift was crazy there was nowt for it but a trip to some close by wrecks which produced a few cod but nowt to get excited about.
all in all even with sunday afternoon being quiet a good 2 days fashin
best fish on sunday was a cod from the ground about 8lb taken by jeff "lucky" davison.baits lures were as sat.roll on next weekend for me although the WARLORD is out thru the week wind etc permitting
