I've knocked similar ones up using tiny glass beeds, look canny and seem to work when I tried em

Bought a trout angling mag couple days ago. I understand what buzzers are now. Larvae rising and falling to the bed of the pond/resevoir.
Also note guys using on average three assorted things on line wets at the top buzzers on the bottom.
It also advised sunglasses and hat to prevent injury from flying hooks. Never really thought about this but a hook in the eye must be really dangerous.
Think i,ll put me cycling wrap rounds on next time.
On a final note this fly fishing lark can if you wish be very expensive up to £400 for some rods and reels.:hallucine:

mick.

Hi Mick,
I suppose it can, but you can pay 300 for a beachcaster, average £80 for a top reel. Penn or Slosh, theres the neck end of 4bar.
But you can also get started for under 100 pund as well. excellent reel for 50 quid with lines, decent rod starts at 100 ish.
The limit is what you set yourself.
as for glasses., every single time, without fail. ask sless.

Bit to much cash for me.
Hiram checked out your rods on e-bay did you get a good price. I,m sure it was you selling a couple of good ones.

Mick.

Mick I started with a £30 shakespeare starter kit, intermediate line and borrowed flies and have outfished many a hopeful pro with their £300 Hardy's rods, interchangeable reels with all the different floating, sinking, fast sinking etc lines.
Like owt you can make it as expensive as you want but it doesn't necessarily make you a better angler.
