Was on holiday in Jersey last week and had a couple of seshes at St Catherines Breakwater. First chuck and landed a Ray, must have been at least 8lb judging by the effort needed to haul it up. Battery low on camera so couldn't get a shot of it, honest.
Then hooked into another later. Wor lass had come along by that time so took a vidy of how not to land a fish, swivel had pulled down to the sinker knot on the 50lb leader and it snapped on the lift, really pi**ed off after all the effort to get it on the top. Pulling one of them in is like pulling out of a kelp bed every pump.
Had a couple of canny doggies and a Black Bream also. All this on a couple of packs of £2.40 frozen sandeel from the little tackle shop on the pier. There's even a pi**er on the end of the pier would you believe.

but atleast you landed one of em and a few bream too. Besides that's one more ray than av ever had anyways
