It may not be a good idea if it does not come out easy, i have been known to chuck hammers around and a camera is not as cheap

Yer will try, just decided since the boat is 10 years old on July the 24th i would do the following.

Standard service, oil, anodes, filters, paint and clean

4 new engine mounts
1 new gear box oil seal
1 new addition to the boat a flexible coupling to reduce vibration and noise (if any)
Cutless bearing

And maybe depending what its like when i get it out a rudder bearing and top hat

That should see me for a few more years....or see the next owner of her a few more years

If you are going to throw hammers about Richy , direct them away from the boat .

Sounds like a major overhaul, but it will be right like you say. The weather for the rest of the week is a bit suspect, so at least you can take your time and not worry about getting out fishing...... Hope it goes well for you Richy ..

Yer its looking poow so far but sure that will change at least 5 times before the weekend

Yer it is just like given your car a long life service, break fluid, timing belt etc.
