[The Jester]

Dashed home from work after arranging a trip out with Big Tel, his brother Mick and Hutchy. Headed to an inshore wreck around 3 miles, as mick had'nt been out fishing before...
First drop and i got my first double of the season
Mick is pictured with the fish just under 12lb

Next Hutch was into one around 8lb

Mick got one about 3lb to break his duck, then it was mackerel for an hour, with Tel playing with his fly rod, and having a lot of fun...

So only 3 cod and a load of mackerel, but having 4 on the boat was a great laugh......
One of me relieved to at last get a double..

Big fish all round it seems, all boats seem to be landing doubles of late.

I am out fishing at 7am for a short sesh today, wont be going far off as have to be home early.

Nice catch thou, them big cod really do fight and dive dont they

Caught it on an Orange pirk ( Deano Special ) , we couldnt get through the macky, with fly's on, you going out Deano :question:
Notice when gutting the fish the stomachs were empty :question:
Aye Richy, it put up a canny scrap for a bit, should be plenty reports this weekend, the weather looks good
