not such a bad idea using a jet ski for light inshore fishing, i have a yamaha wave runner which i intend leaving at the caravan on the west coast next year, i like the kayak idea like some of the lads have but am to lazy to paddle.

What type of ski is it scotty?????, am looking for a new engine for mine as it put a conrod through the block.

-sea doo gtx 2002 model
-engine size is 947 cc
-new keelguard has been fitted
-data tagged
-only has 200 hours of working time on
-spare wheel baring
-lock for toe hitch
-wheel lock.
-2 seater but can carry 3 people
-has forward and reverse gears.

Dunno if it's been mentioned but you'll need at least third party insurance and petrol aint cheap these days.

you need insurance if you want to use the slips at south shields cullercoats and power house at derwnthaugh will want insurance and it was £100 for the key falling to I think £60 the second year but that was a few year ago so will have went up by now they do let you pay for the day but dont let them lock you in . I payed for the day launch went fishing returned at 8pm on a summers night to find gate locked and nobody about to unlock it it was a long night as I wasnt leaving boat tied up along there unattended they got a mouth full the next morning and I got my money back

Also i maybe wrong but due to trouble this year with some jet ski lads setting lip up etc i am pritty sure the Royal Quays now turns away jet ski's from filling up so you will need fuel cans to fill her up.
