hi gary we were a fair distance offshore, mackrel are there but definitely very patchy,i think once we eventually get rid of this easterly swell, both the mackerel and ling/cod will come on better

No Allan, we were out in his mate's little Arvor so didn't go past the dirty wreck in that snotty sea. We picked a few codlings up inshore on the crab.
